    my tivo has recently decided that i should watch car shows. i have it set to record "tivo suggestions" if there's room and there's nothing else being recorded. i find it strange that all of a sudden it thinks i like car shows. i don't watch them at all. i don't record them at all. what gives? i makes me think that somebody is paying tivo to make their shows more popular or something...

    yes...you can also record two shows while your watching a recorded show...tv magic I say

    FYI - The TiVo shows that it's recording for you, does not take away from your allocted recording time for your shows, so it's just extra really...maybe it recorded them for your wife :D

    my folks have tivo but it on;y allows you to record one show at a time. my dvr does what y2b describes.

    you need 2 lines going into the the TiVo for PIP or dual recording to work
