Is was snowing sideways with 30mph winds. Tough throwing weather for most QB's. Plus, they were behind by 30 points before they knew what hit them. They weren't coming back and everyone knew it.

 

I'm pretty sure the idea was to make the game end as fast as possible, and not allow the Patriots to get to 70 points, which they probably would have if they wanted to.

Forget about the conditions. When you're down 45-0 at halftime, you're not going to have enough possessions to get back into the game. You run the clock out and make sure nobody gets hurt, or sick from standing around on the sidelines in that shit.

I said tough for most QB's and Brady is not most QB's. He has always been a great bad weather passer. They don't alter their gameplan much in poor conditions because of it.
