Here is the rest of our schedule. You tell me why I should curb my enthusiasm
Sun, Sep 29 at Green Bay 1:00pm
    Sun, Oct 6 Arizona 1:00pm
Sun, Oct 13 at Dallas 1:00pm
Sun, Oct 20 at Atlanta 1:00pm
Sun, Oct 27 Tampa Bay 1:00pm
    Tue, Nov 5 Bye Week
Sun, Nov 10 New Orleans 1:00pm
Sun, Nov 17 at Tampa Bay 4:05pm
    Sun, Nov 24 Atlanta 1:00pm
Sun, Dec 1 at Cleveland 1:00pm
    Sun, Dec 8 Cincinnati 1:00pm
Sun, Dec 15 at Pittsburgh 1:00pm
    Sun, Dec 22 Chicago 1:00pm
Sun, Dec 29 at New Orleans
Personally after seeing the way the Panthers are playing I see 5 wins here verses Arizona, Dallas, Atlanta (once) Cincy and Cleveland (maybe). That puts us at 8-8 and 2 games better than I thought at the start. As wierd as it sounds I don't want a better record than that due to schedules next year and worse draft picks. This team is good but still has holes to fill. What do you think

Up to the Bye Week I honestly think we have a SHOT... and I know its hard but a SHOT at going undefeated to that point... I know I'll be sacrificed for that bold prediction, but look at it for a sec and break it down.

    --------------------------------------------------------
Sun, Sep 29 at Green Bay (Not playing NEAR the level they should be... also we'll still be going into this game garnering NO RESPECT)

Sun, Oct 6 Arizona (Another win here against a "bad team")

Sun, Oct 13 at Dallas (See Arizona)

Sun, Oct 20 at Atlanta (This is the game we start TRULY earning respect... Atlanta is VERY talented and their record will be MUCH improved by the time we visit them... but in Atlanta I have a feeling they'll still be believing we're a team that doesn't deserve our record... we'll CONTINUE to be looked over... until we dictate the pace of this game and come out with a win... this is the point ppl will take notice)

Sun, Oct 27 Tampa Bay (My biggest disappointment as far as teams go this year, they lose this one and the Panthers POSSIBLY go into the break undefeated)
    --------------------------------------------------------

Now don't get me wrong I wouldn't be surprised at ALL to see us lose one of these realistically, but the way the team has been as a whole from coaching staff on down you also have to look that there is a REALISTIC possibility of WINNING each of these games as well.

    One game at a time.

We got our biggest test coming up, but again, it’s looking winnable.

    One game at a time.

Interestingly, our entire division looks tough.

I noticed that it's New Orlean's bye week, too.

We best bring our A game. Our division is gonna be tough.

yeah, GB should be a big one, but getting through the division should be harder.

Suddenly the NFC (weekest division in NFL according to Pundits) South
looks to be the scariest games to play on our schedule.
I would look forward to playing San Fran and the Rams right now.

Saints : Damn good looking football team right now.

Tampa: Just have no idea how wer're gonna do against them, we'll see after tonight how they do against the Rams.

Atlanta: look to be a sound football team, not a "pushover" for anyone in the league. Besides they seem to bring their 'A' game when they play us no matter what their record is.

    Other non-division games to note:

Green Bay: They have Brett favre. They play like a wounded animal at home even when they are not looking good: MEAN.

Arizona: Never put a 'W' in the column until after you beat them. Very unpredictable which team will show up. They can bring a good game.

Chicago: Glad they come here. A very good football team, but they are getting beat up severly with injuries. At the rate they are going, they'll be playing pracice squad guys by the time we play them. And they aren't that deep anywhere.

Browns: Good football team. Can be scary. We'll see how they do as the season wears on.

Steelers: We go there. Right now they look bad, but then again, they might be very much improved by the time we play them.

What do I think? I think I'm wondering how you got the name PantherPaul? You hope the Panthes go 8-8?!?!?!? So the theory is let's be less than or average now, so we can be better down the road???

Did you leave before the fourth quarter at every home game last year??? Did you experience any of the demoralizing losses on the last drive/play of the game?? Apparently not. Walking out of the studium after those losses was heartbreaking....to say the least.
All the David Carr's, Julius Pepper's, or even Byron Leftwhich's aren't worth the feeling I get after a loss.

I just have one question for you PantherPaul.........haven't we lost enough???

Here is one fan hoping for 16-0, damn the draft pick.
