Tigers a disgrace

    It's looking more and more like Detroit will miss the playoffs. The wildcard is the only shot they have and that is not a good shot. The Tigers have to be the biggest dissappointment in baseball this year. I know they have had some injuries but with tht lineup and those pitchers to miss the post season is a major thud. At the break the Tigers looked like the best team in baseball, now they will watch the playoffs on tv with me.

    I agree with you but if the Yanks don't get it together they could end up being the biggest disappointment this year.

    Yes indeed, if the Yanks don't make it to October they will be the biggest disappointment to most. But I think the Tigers have a lot more pitching and to fall short with those bats to me would be a bigger screw up.

    The Yanks had pitching but with Clemens out for some starts and the Moose can't find it. Maybe the rookie arms can carry them into October but with the pressure and everything, maybe they won't fold.
