thoughts on baseball.....

i hate outfields that have hills near the fence......thats just wrong

baseball should be played outside, not under a roof

i like the sound that the bat makes when it hits the ball solidly, wood or aluminum bat

i like the sound a ball makes when it pops a glove in just the right spot

i like managers that aint skeered to get tossed

i like the smell of a well worn glove

head first slides are cool

line drive double plays are not

i'm not a fan of the DH

rally caps are cool too

suicide squeezes are fun to see

boog powell was not handsom

neither was bob horner

 

I disagree..line drive double plays are fucking cool as hell.

whats worse is the flagpole is in play.

Both that and the hill are old school.

 

try making a play on the ball as an outfielder on something like that...........yikes

Granite Quarry (E. Rowan).....moderately bad
Lexington (Moffit Feild)....terrible

 

not to mention the crowd that sits behind that hill
