This week's NCAA games

Looking to rebound from a sorry week last week. 12-10 for the season.

Duke (+13) - THE MAN who sets the line has not quite figured out that while Duke still sucks, the Dukies do not suck as bad as in previous years (4-1 ATS).

Penn St. (+5) - Does Michigan even have an offense?

Pitt / Notre Dame UNDER 41 - This game will be boring as hell….. unless Pitt wins. The defensive units in this game are much better than the offenses.

Washington State (-8) - Stanford is the worst team in the PAC 10. They can't stop anyone and now they have to play the PAC 10 favorite after working really hard to stay close to ND last weekend. I'm a little afraid of a Wash St. let down after their win last week, but it shouldn't matter as bad as Stanford is this year.

Oregon (+2.5) - Picked on UCLA at Oregon State last week and I paid for it. But I still believe that their run D is suspect and Oregon should be able to exploit that better than Oregon St.

No plays on any of the really big games. It is flat out NOW or never for Texas so I was tempted, but I just don't trust the Simms kid to NOT throw the ball to the Sooners 3 or 4 times.

 

Sunday morning rehash....

It never ceases to amaze me how on some days one team - say Duke - can outgain another team by 100+ yards and still lose by 26 points. Blocked FG, interception.... I knew that when I finally decided to take a shot with Duke I'd lose my ass.

Chris Simms still sucks. Texas may never beat Oklahoma at this rate.

 

remind me NEVER to bet on Dook. Sheesh, what was I thinking? Washington St was money in the bank.

 

All my friends laughed like hell at me last night for taking Duke. Just pisses me off...

I was following the game on Yahoo (that "Gamechannel" thing they have is great for the degenerate gambler) and when Duke couldn't score from FIRST AND GOAL on the TWO - and THEN they give up that FG block/return on their first fucking possession I got that sinking feeling. Then the interception.... 14-0 and that play was toast. Fuck the Dukies. I'll bet against them at some point later this year and they'll cover then.

 

Hopefully everyone will just shut the fuck up about Christy Sims now.
