Bear - Figured I'd bump this thread since it has all the games…BUT… to answer your question about last night. Yes. I was sweating. Especially when UVA went up a TD in the third. I let out a big sigh of relief with that last CSU FG. I figured I was good to go then unless UVA scored and some dolt boinked the extra point. I've seen stranger shit (see Buffalo/Tenn, Music City Miracle).

Some general game rehashing from last night….

UVA is a little better than I expected for this early. They will be a tough out later this year once all of those kids grow up. They close with NC State, Maryland and @ Va Tech. Those teams had better not snooze through the game or UVA might surprise them. The prime candidate in my eyes is MD. Their schedule sets them up for a loss in that spot, they will not be as good as last year, and MD always struggles at UVA.

Why in the hell Groh put Schaub back in the game in the next-to-last possession is beyond me. The kid promptly throws an interception. Leave that little freshman QB in and let him run it down the field. I figured I was toast until that INT.

I was shocked that Colorado St. seemed way out of shape in the second half. I understand that heat is an ass-kicker, but to be dragging like that in the FIRST GAME?

Colorado will be a double-digit favorite over Colo St. next weekend. It will not be enough. Especially if Van Pelt's elbow is fucked like I think it will be. My arm hurts just thinking about that play.
