    Orgasm - X-Japan

I've followed the threads so I got interested and downloaded some X-Japan stuff, namely 'Orgasm', 'Endless Rain', 'Rusty Nail' and 'Kurenai'. I gave up on 'Forever Love'.

I don't know you, Nytdreamer, and you don't know me. I'm a fan of heavy-ish stuff so there wasn't much chance of me liking X-Japan, so please don't be offended by my opinion. It's only my opinion, after all! :D

They are very European in their musical style, and by this I mean Continental Europe, not Britain.

'Endless Pain' is aptly titled. Utter garbage. No offense, remember? ;)

'Kurenai' and 'Rusty Nail' (live version) are very Scandanavian, the latter having some really nice guitar breaks.

'Orgasm' is by far the best that I listened to. If you manage to find an English translation of an interview with them, I bet you anything that they're fans of the British band, The Wildhearts. There's still quite a lot of Scandanavia here, though.

There's a huge rock market in Japan. It doesn't surprise me that such a European-sounding band are so big in their home country.

Man, I love the Experience recording.
[I saw Jimi on J. Carson one night. He was absolutely stoned out of his freaking mind; all he could do was giggle(I don't remember if he even played; I guess he did. His state of mind overshadowed everything.]
