Season Of The Witch - Julie Driscoll and the Brian Auger Trinity

I wonder if this is the same song. I think it was written by English folk singer Donovan (Leitch) in the 60s. The version I'm playing as I write this is one of my favourite songs of all time. The gorgeous Julie Driscoll's slow, jazzy voice and great understated organ by Brian Auger. So good I played it twice! Thanks for reminding me, Reb.

"You've gotta pick up every stitch, must be the season of the witch."

If you ever get to hear this, Magnus, you'll realise I don't just "rock out". It's on Kazaa, download it now!

Exactly Cath Ddu ... Donovan was an icon for the direction of music in the mid sixties. Him and Dylan, and Joan Biez, and Joani Mitchel, the list goes on. We used to hang out at "love in's " and groove on Donovan and smoke banana peels :D ... the good old days.
He had several good tunes like Mellow Yellow and Wear your Love Like Heaven
