No. Though that may make for a cool Fisham vacuum cleaner solo.

"This song is not by the Vermont band Phish. It was originally done by Dr. Dre, Snoop, and a NYC hip-hop artist named Phish, and has been covered by a bluegrass band from Texas called the Gourds. The latter circulates on MP3, and is sometimes incorrectly labelled as by Phish. It ain't. The hip-hop artist Phish is also featured on backup vocals for Dre's "What's the Difference" (track 7 on Dr. Dre - 2001 - as remarkably unoriginal as using the name "Phish" more than a decade after the band)."

Oh dear god no, I'm not a taper. I've got what I have through either trades or signing up for tape trees. Haven't traded in a while though. I've burned some CDs, but most of what I have is still on tape.

Always thought it would be cool, those guys hauling huge microphones and equipment from place to place. Meat was a taper, so I hear.

I dunno if it would have been all that big a deal. I know DMB used to let some people plug right into the board, I know Phish would have at least allowed direct recording from output.

The band stopped allowing Soundboard recordings in 94. Too many tapers fucking around the board, pissed the sound guy off. Everyonce in a while he'll let someone patch in, but usually no.

Instead, they sell tapers tickets, and you get a primo location to record.

I always liked a clean, Audience DAT better anyway. Most live albums aren't recorded off the board.

    true enough, Piper.

DMB's new CD is almost out. Busted Stuff is basically going to be a rehash of Lillywhite Sessions, but the first single is a new one - Where Are You Going is being released this week. I'm listening now
