1. name- why not try for hornets? i know, they want to start with a new identity, but charlotte = hornets and hornets= charlotte; at least for me.

2. GM- who are you looking at for the general manager position? Is jordan a possibiliyt here?

3. Structure of team- what kind of team are we going to focus on building? one on youth, or experience- through the draft or trades/FA? what free agents are we targeting for 04-05 season( solarte could do a lil research here to see who's available ).

4. Style of team- what kind of identity will this team have? are we looking at a defensive oriented coach to come in or an offensive oriented coach- one that will likely sell more tickets.

5. European Players- what are your feelings on drafting overseas? Anyone you have your eyes on?

6. Paul Silas- any possibility in seeing him christen the new charlotte franchise?

7. Ticket prices in the first year of the franchise: premium seatingn and luxury seats are not in bulk at the tyvola coliseum? will you use the hornets old ticket structure for the 1st year? what kind of pricing are we looking at for the new arena?

8. Arena amenities- what kinds of entertainment, besides just basketball halftime shows and timeouts, will the arena provide (ie replica basketball court for people to play on, sports bar, nc bball museum, etc..)

9. When do we expect a coach/gm to be hired? will there be a separate coach and gm or a single entity- ie pat riley or george karl?

Why 2 lame names like the Bobcats & Flight as possible team names for our new NBA team ? ? ? What happened to Spiders ? ? Don't tell me they are skeered of some lower level D1 program in Virginia taking them to court over copyright infringement ? ? ?

Don't quite know what to make of slydevl's post, but moving on.... Should be a fun chat with Tapscott, I am looking forward to it, although I should say right up front, I don't know how much he'll comment on ticket prices and such.....

quick to add- grill tapscott on the names- these are atrocious: dragons, bobcats??!!! wtf!!! flight is ok- but if we're going with flight, how bout aviators- throw the name in there mike and i'll throw some publicity on campus for you- i have "cinekshons"
