Lady Bisons win handily against cross-town rival Fisk.
Six Lady Bisons Score in Double Figures

    Nov. 13, 2007

Nov 13, 2007 - The Lady Bisons returned to Allen Arena on Tuesday night setting several team records on their way to victory over cross-town rival (Div. III) Fisk University.

The Lady Bisons shot 57% from the field and held the Lady Bulldogs to only 9 field goals beating Fisk 123-22.

This is the most points scored by the Lady Bisons in the NCAA Era. It also ties their all time record for most points scored in a game orginally set in 1996 against Bethel and again in 1997 against Tennessee Temple.

The Lady Bisons also came within one point of tying the NCAA record for highest winning margin.

It was a team effort for the Lady Bisons with every member of Coach Frank Bennett's team scoring along with six players posting double figures.

Jillian Partin, Jenna Bartsokas, Katie Rollins, and Rachel Viehmann each scored 10 points with Cree Nix adding 14. Valerie Bronson lead the scoring for the Lady Bisons with 20 points and also grabbed 15 rebounds to earn her first career double-double.

    Stats for the game....
