Dee made it, but Casey and Leander didn't. Minor didn't either.

Yep, Gilbert has somehow made it again. Tuten and Mangum, and while we're at it Damien RIchardson, found ways to make it again. Well dammit, they're Panthers. What can I say, other than that apparently each of them did just enough.

in my opinion minor is the big surprise here. he has good speed and has been excellent on special teams. not sure why we kept towns over minor.

good eye, d4425. I didn't notice that both Allen and Towns made it. Allen played his ass off this year and Towns is obviously a good backup MLB but we're talking 7 LB - 8 including Kyle - and we couldn't fit our best ST player of 2000 on that squad (Minor posted 16 tackles that year, besting Bates - he was a few behind Cooper this year who had 20)? That's a little screwy. I hope Allen takes up his slack and I hope Minor catches on somewhere.

    Towns got Minor's spot.

    Allen and Towns both stuck.

Rasmussen is in the NFL. Smith getting hurt got Kemp a job. I wonder how he'll do?

Derrick Fletcher is also in the NFL.

DARNAY SCOTT was released from the Jags. Hmmm.

Call it sentiment but, I wanted to see them keep BLACK AND Deke. I thought that BOTH were better than fat boy and richardson. Sure didn't see that coming.......

Old Coot wonders how many of these guys will be cut to make way for other new players ????
    :( :p

No Minor????? I am with the rest of you on this one. He really played good that last game as well, I guess too little too late.

My sentiment pick to stay was Mighty Joe Montgomery, but the numbers game got him to :(.

  10. I'm surprised they waived Deke. I guess now I don't have to order my jersey with J. Cooper on it now.
