yeah, was hoping there'd be a little more interest in a playoff game myself.

Bad timing. I can't get straighten out from 2 Mondays off in a row. I hope they will work in Gaines and Magnum over the middle. I really wish they would roll Jake out to slow the rush down. I think they have to help Wharton, maybe not initally but if the Gmen start pressuring Jake we need to have a plan to stop it. Also I really liked the 70 yard run to FOster, a new play. Defensively I think if we stop Tiki we should be O.K., though Plaxico is a good reciever and Toomer has made a decent return. Isn't their kicker the one who blew 3 trys at Seattle and missed?

Robbins is doubtful for Sunday. Did not practice Wednesday.

    Doesn't suck.

Anyone remember when Carolina beat NYG in the 2004 preseason?

All three of their starting LB's were out. Majority of Henning's calls early on were empty set. We had a great deal of success in the passing game that night. Delhomme exited the game over 80%, and tossed a TD. It was one of the more impressive games by Delhomme, albeit pre-season.

Maybe it means something, maybe it doesn't. Just some food for thought.

Pressure on Jake worries me the most. Not as much Strahan as Osi.

    If ...

The Panthers beat the Giants, the Redskins beat the Bucs, the Panthers beat the Bears, the Redskins beat the Seahawks, we will host the Redskins for the NFC Championship.

Will that be cool or what?

Only if we win, cause I'd hate the skins to go to the sb worse than anybody in the po right now.

We haven't done empty set much if at all in the last few games. That's a great call. Out of base personnel, you could force 260 lb Alonzo Jackson onto Foster one on one, or get Gaines outmuscling Corey Webster. I'll take it.

If we are able to run the ball on them we will be fine. If not we can still win if we do not let Tiki get out of hand and Jake does not make too many mistakes.
