I thought that's what they did to Maryland and Georgia Tech?

no you read it backwards he said top 20 by 50, not top 50 by 20. I did the same thing but stop myself when I realized it while typing a reply.

With the way Maryland is playing right now, they should be climbing back into the rankings real soon. Mississippi State couldn't hit the broad side of a barn that game. Alabama completely shut them down

it ain't 50 but UNC beat Tech by 22 - Tech has been in the Top 25 all year. Maryland is #22 this week - and UNC beat them by 34.

34 must be UNC's lucky number - they beat Va Tech, Maryland and UVA each by 34 points.

As for my statements about UNC being the best in the ACC ( thats right - I said ACC not nation or that UNC was a lock to win the NCAA Tourney) coming back to bite me - big fucking whoop. I assume if they lose another conference game Thelt or sockittome will make me run wind sprints.

And I don't care if it was lowly UVA they stomped and I don't care if its a waste of time to compare wins but I'm going to anyway

dook managed to beat UVA on vaunted Coach Krap Court by 14 big points - it took their three big guns of Redick, Williams, Ewing playing 39,39 and 38 minutes respectively to get that huge margin of victory

meanwhile UNC beat the same UVA team on the road - by 34 - after having a fifty point lead early in the second half - now UNC did this with their leading scorer playing only 18 minutes and scoring five points - their best defensive player only getting 14 minutes. most of the Heels starters barely scratched 20 minutes on the court. Third stringers were out there with 9 minutes left in the game.

meanwhile dook had Ewing jacking up three pointers with less than two minutes to play and Williams playing almost to the end last night against V Tech

you tell me which team sounds like its better suited to being called the best in the ACC - and lucky for Wake they don't have to play in the Dean Dome this year for a little pay back

You said "Absolutey No Doubt" when UNC lost straight up to Wake and hasn't even played Duke yet. I'd say there is some legitimate doubt there Yosef.

Right now you could make a legitimate argument for Wake, Duke, or UNC being the best in the conference. I don't see how Wake lost to FSU and GT. Georgia Tech is playing awful right now. UNC is playing the best basketball as of right now. Wake looks like they are just going to beat everyone and then they lose to the Seminoles, and I thought Duke would be undefeated going into the Wake game. If Duke wins against Wake on Wednesday it will all come down to the UNC-Duke game
