Front and back of today's New York Post, it would be a keeper.

you know what?..........i have always wondered how a yankee fan can call somebody else chokers, i mean, after all they're supposed to win it all every year, are'nt they? they're loaded.....right? they have the very best players, right? the smartest manager, right? fat pockets george too, right? if ANYBODY deserves the title "chokers" its them, right? crash and burn baby, crash and burn!

Like the Braves did'nt spend big bucks on players during the Ted Turner era....with only one world championship to show for it in 38 years!Just shows that spending the big bucks won't always win world championships.Just ask the Mets,Dodgers, and Orioles...all big spenders in the past with nothing to show for it.

The Yankees were winning championships in the 20's,30's,40's,50's,and 60's...long before free agency.Just throwing money at players will not win championships.Ask the teams above if you don't believe me.

The Yankees made huge mistakes in the off season in letting Clemens,Wells, and Pettite(even though he is currently hurt)get away. They were clutch pitchers in the playoffs.I don't believe the pitchers they have now will carry them far in the playoffs.Boston with Schilling and Pedro will be tough in the AL.St.Louis will be tough in the NL.
