I think they are going to pull it off. :)
Need to capitalize on one mistake and play the tough defense that got them to this point. USA wins 1-0
Mexico or Italy...either of those would be awesome matches.

US gets extremely lucky to advance after outplaying (for most of the game) Poland - but still losing 3-1. The Korea point turned out to be a great point. I can't believe Portugal lost that game. Unbelievable. US gets Mexico who is maybe the team playing the best in the tourney outside of Brazil who is playing better and better every game. US vs Mexico should be an exciting match, although the US will have to finish VERY well on any chances to stay with Mexico.

We need faster sweepers in the back. Sorry but Agoos sucks ass and Hedjuk is out with two yellows. Unless we change our line up. We have fast forwards, we should capitilize on that.:D

Tell me the fix wasn't in early in the USA-Poland match. I only watched about the first 15 minutres before it became obvious. The Chinese ref made two early BS calls against the US, one on a corner, the other wiping out what would have been a tying goal. There was no way the Koreans weren't gonna advance. Soccer: it's as crooked as boxing. Ask Redcoat. He'll tell ya. It's rigged.

    hehe...
It is obvious as hell isn't it. I know for a fact that neither Japan nor Korea are great soccer teams. They are good teams, but in this tourney they are getting the benefit of an enormous bias from the refs. Italy will shut up the Koreas. Turkey will beat Japan as well IMO. Then maybe when can see some evenly called matchs.

Unbelievable. US beat Mexico, one of the teams playing the best in the tourney. Now they get another in Germany. Actually the US and Germ are similar teams so should be interesting.

Regardless of the outcome against the Germs, US already has shown they belong in the top 10 teams in the world. :D
