The Wire

anyone watch this show? I've heard lots of great things about it.

 

Is is the single greatest thing I've ever seen on tv. Period.

It's like a novel brought to life where it keeps in all the stuff a movie or show would cut from a book. The depth of the characters and story is amazing. It may take a few episodes to get into for some people because it not a lot of action, explosions, and instant payoffs but by the end of the series you'll feel like you knew these characters in real life.

I can't say enough great things about the show. I envy you because you get the watch the show fresh.

 

Best television show I've ever seen by far. I loved the Soprano's, but this show was so much more consistent, realistic and poignant than anything else I've watched. Some of the most unique and compelling characters are on this show. Takes a couple episodes then all of a sudden you are totally hooked. I'm just bummed that they stopped producing it, maybe we'll get lucky and get a movie.

 

it fucking blows. don't waste your time.
