    when does tommy take place? i always thought it was post WW2, but why the song 1921?

    oh. okay. that answers that question. i guess the movie changed it to 1951...

    but that makes me wonder how old this kid was to be a pinball wizard. like 40?

    hmm... let's see, first pinball machines with flippers was 1947, so i guess if he was six in 1921, then he was 32 when this machine came out....
