    This doesn't surprise me a bit. They probadly saw the hand-writing on the wall as far as playing time goes. Most likely this was a mutual decision.

    Reminds me of some of the recruiting busts at GT that would just 'disappear' after a year. Scholarships are given out on a one year basis, sometimes I wonder if transfers aren't the school's way of gently showing them the door. Although, sometimes transfers really hurt the team even if they are minor players. I remember when Boateng transferred and even though he wasn't that good Duke was left with McRoberts, a freshman Zoubek, and about 20 guards.

    UNC might have trouble finding big bodies to take their places this late in the game.

    Damn, these freshmen better come in and be ready to play a lot and lead this team. I really thought that both of them would have had a chance to get a lot more minutes with Thompson and Davis gone. Wonder what else is going on here. They sure have lost a lot from an already not so good team.
