I bought there Cd about a month ago and can't seem to take it out of my Cd player.. This is truly one of the best rock bands out right now.. Great live show with these guys.. They played both the warped tour last year and Ozzfest.. I caught them on ozzfest and they really impressed me.. They are coming to Ziggys on March 30th and then they are going to be on the warped tour again this summer.. songs you need to hear:

twiggy, phish rocks!!! them arent gonna die bec they sell out all their concerts! but, i like you still even tho you are wrong about phish. i am wrong about country music, too. i know you like country, twig. how can that be? "is that evem legal"? punk and country? wha?

 

The used roots come from punk.. but I just think they are rock..

I'm sorry but most of what Phish does is just filler.. Stoner music that has no point to it... Jam band are just boring to me.. I need something that is rocking and you don't have to be high to enjoy.. i've never been much on hippies and that whole peace love shit.. Phish, Widespread Panic, the dead... I just can't stand any of them....

I'm not really a big fan of country music... Just a few songs.. You just have to understand where I live I'm exposed to country music all day long... I mean my brother is a DJ at a country music station so that is mostly what he talks about.. growing up that is what most people listen to around here.. that is probably what made me turn so much toward the exact oppisite.... To say I'm country music fan is a little much... I like a little Dwight Yolkum(sp) or hank williams..... Just a little redneck bleeds through sometimes.... But I never will like bands like Phish...

 

No, not in England yet, that's next week. I'll be there for four nights and I've already lined up two gigs. Lots of little British bands that you'll not have heard of, so I won't go into detail.

So on to 'The Used'.

I downloaded 3 songs in January. 'On My Own' was the first song I heard by them and I thought it was shit! As an introduction to the band it really put me off them. Next I played 'Blue And Yellow' and thought it was better, but not a lot. The last track I downloaded was 'Bulimic', which is by far the best of the three and gets better every time I hear it.

Disappointing, but having said that, these are obviously not the best tracks on the album because you recommended four others. I'll give them a listen when I get a chance.

OK, I'm on my way to becoming converted.

'The Taste Of Ink' and 'Pieces Mended' are very good, 'A Box Full Of Sharp Objects' and 'Bulimic' are even better. Haven't heard 'Bury Myself Alive' yet, but I will.

I will NEVER forgive them for 'On My Own', though! I bet Lex will like it!

 

This thread is all about TW1GGY, gutter and Lex. So ..... will one of you/all three of you PLEASE download some Elviss from Kazaa. They're a little known but up-and-coming English band - they haven't released an album yet, only two singles - and I'd like to hear what you think. I can't see then ever being big, but I really like them - they're quite lightweight pop-punk.
