Felton did not have a good game the reason unc lost by 40 is becuase MD much biger then unc the play that troen the game was when MD mies 2pointe shot unc had a changes to cut the lead to 12 or 11 pointe they miad a bad pass and mD come back and make it a 15 pointe game

hp, on the day of the news they typically put them in order of most recent at the top. On a day like today when there is no news, they are going to put the biggest story at the top from the day before or past few days. I have been going to this site for a few years and that is the way they have always done it.

I still don't really see a point in your post, except to be a flamer. I think you would have more to worry about with your own program since they aren't exactly doing anything to speak of.

It's so funny that when UNC/dook does bad people have to post about it because of jealousy if they are outside the rivalry, and when somebody like UNCC does bad nobody even post about in comparison, not even their own fans or students.

 

Call it flaming if you wish. I've spent more time in an college athletic department than anyone here so don't doubt the credentials. (IE: a student assistant at UNCC from 1976-81, I served as chief statistician on the Final Four team, video taping, information director responsible for women's sports, student ticket manager, to serving in the Athletic Foundation office among other duties). If there's any doubt, contact Judy Rose. As for Charlotte's program, we've done damn well from coming out of nowhere since Bill Foster started that first scholarship team and we are equally proud of the other athletic squads as well. Your point... a typical Tar Heel fan's lament, winning isn't everything, it's the only thing that matters.

I will give you this on my hatred toward not the Tar Heel teams but the fans. I was at the 1977 Final Four in Atlanta. Tickets for the 4 games were $28 dollars total then I might add! I was in the stands sitting in the section beside the UNC section. I saw them sit on their butts, never even remotely thinking about cheering for us against Marquette. I always hear this "I cheer for the other teams when they;re not playing us" crap. It wasn't true. The only person standing up in the Carolina section then was Governor Jim Hunt! Only at the timeout before the final play did the Tar Heel cheerleaders come out and encourage their fans to stand up and cheer. Yes, that is a fact and I have despised them since then.

I've had the oportunity to assist at UNC games when they've played in Charlotte. Former media director Rick Brewer, his staff and Coach Smith were wonderful to work with. But I can't say the same for most Carolina fans.

You're correct in saying I want to jump them when they're down. But you know, it's kind of gotten boring to continually kick a dead horse like I've been able to do the past 2 seasons. Get a new coach and athletic director and maybe the glory days will return.

Savio, at least you and I went to college at UNCC. I doubt fever attended UNC. (Apologies in advance however, if you did.)

But I guess what UNCfever is saying is that you aren't allowed to root for more than one school. In other words, it's being a Carolina fan or nothing at all. How dull a life it must be, looking thru pussy blue colored shades.

 

HP, all your credentials don't mean shit, I mean hell look at Doh, he is a fucking head coach does that mean he is good, smart or whatever? NO, just means he was in the right place at the right time.

No I didn't go to UNC as a college student. I lived there for 6 years and during those 6 years, just about every program that I went to for 2 years elementary, 3 years Jr. High and 1 year High school were tied into UNC and dook. If UNC would have offered what I took in college then I would have gone there, no doubt.

And show me where I said you couldn't pull/root for another team? I do it everyday, I pull for UNC first, Kentucky 2nd, NC State 3rd, the rest of the ACC (except clempson and dook) and then everybody else, then next to last is clempson and last is dook. I even pull for the 49ers, just can't stand their fans. They are the most annoying fans that any team has; they talk more shit without a damn thing to back it up.
