It doesn't matter how much money they took, the fact is they took money which is against NCAA rules.

Go back and re-read the Yahoo articles on Blake and Wichard. Completely wrong. Yahoo linked them together with a money trail. Heck, Blake even had a Credit Card given to him by Wichard.

That's the other interesting part that I don't know if the NCAA will investigate but Blake was the lead recruiter. You have the statement from Austin on signing day that Blake was talking to him about investing. Then you have the Facebook comment by Corey Miller (now at Tenn.) saying that Blake was trying to pay him. If Blake was dirty enough to be a runner while also being an Assistant Head Coach, you know he was dirty enough to be paying recruits. Now, how much evidence is there beyond those two statements, who knows. This will definitely hit recruiting though as many of your top recruits always mentioned their close relationship with Blake (LOL). Already lost a 3 star DE and the VT sites are claiming Marquis Williams is theirs now. And frankly, once the penalties are announced, any recruit would be crazy to stay on that sinking ship if they could go somewhere else.

Especially if UNC gets hit with a 3 year bowl ban. You will have to wait til your a senior in order to play in a bowl game. Butch knew this was going on because of his friendship with Blake and Blake's role in the program.

I'm not arguing that, what I am arguing is whether it was reasonable to think that Davis should have known about it.

Please post the link or article where Blake and/or Wilchard are implicated in the payments to UNC players. I cannot find anything that says that.

Look, I understand that you hate UNC and feel like you can now just make shit up and see if it sticks, but as of now there is no proof at all that Davis knew - or even should have known - about any of this.

Did you find any of that proof of academic fraud I have been asking you for?

    Ask and ye shall receive:

    http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/news?slug=cr-uncagents092910

"Prominent NFL agent Gary Wichard and former University of North Carolina assistant football coach John Blake have engaged in multiple financial transactions since May of 2007, a four-month investigation by Yahoo! Sports has found."

    &

"Two of those trips included training at a California facility less than two miles from Wichard’s agency, Pro Tect Management. Yahoo! Sports has obtained a hotel receipt from one of those trips, which lists Austin’s name above Pro Tect Management, as well as an address and Marriott Rewards number belonging to an NFL marketing agent who represents two current Pro Tect clients."

lc is closer to the truth with a three year bowl ban than you are right now. Keep dreaming this will end well for UNC-CH and that the entire program isn't dirty.
