That is some of the worst logic ever. Perhaps the NCAA doesn't want to release anything until they kinda have facts and shit. We can wait and see what they release when they release it, and if they university is found to have been involved in academic fraud, then everyone should be canned. I really can't be any more clear than that. Until that happens though, you might want to stop pretending like there is already proof.

The tutor was apprently hooking up with some of the players and helping them out and was also working as a nanny for Butch. Those 2 things are not necessarily linked nor does it mean that Butch was complicit or even known about by him.

And yes, I am sure that the NCAA is interviewing her as well as lots of people. We'll see what they come up with but I hope if they come up with nothing that all of you yahoos still show up here posting as many mea culpas as you have posted condemnations.

Not such a great comparison, but nice try. It was kinda humorous though.

And when they put you on probation for multiple years, will you continue to deny any UNC-CH faults in this? We know they were cheating academically (and riiiiiight, Butch had no idea it was HIS nanny helping them - Odin was dead on if you continue to think he had absolutely no idea), we know some of your players were receiving money/gifts on the side, and we know your Assistant Head Coach was a runner for an agent which has NEVER happened in the NCAA. If they don't come down hard on UNC-CH, they will owe USC and Reggie Bush a major apology.

I have already said that if the University is in any way complicit in the academic piece, then Davis, Baddour, and the Chancellor all need to be fired on the spot. I'm not really sure how much more clear I can make that.

And so far, there has been nothing at all that I think Davis should or could have been reasonable expected to know about. And just in case you missed it, neither do most of the experts - including the guy who was a runner and paid players. If you take your hate blinders off, you would easily realize that. The players did not take inordinate sums of money and there is no way that Davis can be expected to know where every player spends his weekends in the summer.

I totally agree that Davis bears the responsibility for hiring Blake, and therefore also his actions as a coach. And he should have known his history and made damn sure that he was behaving himself. But I do not think that Blake nor Wilchard (or whatever the agent's name is) was the one giving the players money and none of them are his clients - so that is a seperate and unrelated issue as far as I can see.
