    So then why exactly did they come back to Chapel Hill? For a few free drinks?

    A good number of the ones from NC were recruited by both - at least according to espn.

    According to ESPN, Matin Iti was the #1 rated Center. Take it for what it's worth.

    Recruiting depends on what is being done. I mean, I can imagine we sent most of them letters and even might have offered a scholarship but I can't remember any of them actually coming down to a choice between UNC-CH and NCSU where we were competing very hard for them. For many of the cheaters, I believe they were heavy leans to UNC-CH the whole time. I gue$$ there i$ a good rea$on for that.

    I actually see this as a good thing. I'd rather they not make it if they aren't cut out for college than having a tutor do all their work for them. Maybe that's just me speaking as a graduate but I'd much prefer lower grad rates over the current UNC-CH philosophy of do whatever it takes to get them into school and whatever it takes to keep them in school including cheating.

    No clue what rea$on$ they would have to come back to $chool. I'm ju$t gue$$ing $omeone made it worth their time. $omeone with a connection to an agent maybe.
