If allowed the oportunity, yes. I don't believe he will be given that chance by the powers that be at Carolina.

    3* RB commits

Romar Morris committed to North Carolina on Monday afternoon, according to sources close to the situation. The Salisbury (N.C.) running back/athlete picked North Carolina over offers from Georgia Tech, Clemson, NC State, South Carolina and Tennessee.

I've seen some film on that guy. Runs hard, he's fast, and shifty.

The Salisbury Post says he's a Heel. They've got a very good player coming in. He should put up some huge numbers this year for the Hornets.

C.J. Spiller ran a 10.42 100 Meters as a senior in high school to win the FL high school 100 M in 2006. C.J. ran a 21.5 200 M also as a senior. Link below.

Romar ran a 10.54 100 M as a Junior to win the 2A NC high school championship. He ran a 21.47 200 M as a junior as well- faster than C.J as a 200 m runner while one year younger than C.J. Link below.

Based on his scout articles, Romar has posted the fastest combine time at the Charlotte combine ( a 4.4 and 4.3 in two runnings).

There are only 2 other RBs in Scout's Top 100 running backs who are listed with a sub 4.4 40 time. One is 5 star Clemson commit Mike Bellamy who is listed with a 4.31 and the other is a 4.39 5'6" Jerron Seymour. Based on the Scout listings Romar is one of the two fastest football running recruits in America.

    Morris 4.3 (4.19 shuttle
    Felder 4.35 (4.1 shuttle)
    Boyd 4.2 (10.45 100, 21.3 200 in high school)
    Thorpe 4.38
    Tapley 4.4 (21.9 200 meter in track)
    Wilkins 4.45

Saw on ESPN this morning that our 2011 class is ranked 11. I have no idea whether these are verbal or written committments.
