i think the WR they have now will be something special over the next 2-3 years and they look pretty good now. The failure to recruit a stud RB and QB are the major problems at this point. Houston and Draughn are decent but not top notch talent like they need. Don't get me started on Yates, he's the equivalent of Delhomme at the college level. Butch needs to get his butt down to Texas and recruit the hell out of that state.

 

I agree with that. If you had told me that UNC would win 8 games & qualify for a bowl after that FSU loss, I would have said you were crazy. The Heels had a good, not great season. They lost to 3 teams (Virginia, FSU, & State) who were having terrible seasons. So Davis gets credit for salvaging a potentially bad year. Alot of work ahead!

 

....solid recruiting? nope. stadium improvements? thats funny, they should tear that crap hole down and build a badass complex with bookoos of parking for folks to tailgate. Atleast then the tarhole fans would have a nice buzz on when they leave in the 2nd quarter. Increasing attendance!!!!!!!!?????????.............now thats funny.
CMon, are you serious? You actually posted that UNC is at the top in the ACC for increasing attendance??!!!!!
Now thats funny! I've heard of QB ratings, yards per game by an offense, yards given up per game by a defense......BUT never "attendance increase rating".

I posted prejections for bowls. Tire Bowl has FSU against Pitt and Music City for Tarheels verses Kentucky. Would be a LONG drive there but I've never been there so I am going

 

...they don't have any problem cashing my check! Actually you're right, I'd hate me too but its hard to be a hater when we keep waxing the tarholes ass year after year

 

looks like you're right, should be a good game.

 

I'll take a loss to State and a bowl game every year as opposed to beating State and ending up 5-7.

2. David Cutcliffe 5-7 (3-5 ACC) 4-8 & 5-7 so far!
2. Jim Grobe 5-7 (3-5 ACC) Program heading in the wrong direction right now!
4. Tom O'Brien 5-7 (2-6 ACC) 3 straight losing seasons!

So, Butch Davis needs to figure out how to beat N.C. State, & David Cutcliffe & Tom O'Brien need to figure out how to have a winning season.

 

I have said the exact same thing many times. Yates is awful. BD has to fix that going into next season. Draughn and Houston we can live with, they will never be NFL pro-bowlers, sure, but they are not the reason the offense sucks either.
