Darius Lipford a lb from Hibriten High in Lenoir dropped his commitment to Dook on Wednesday and gave a verbal to Carolina. Lipford is a very good athlete.

Probably Nashville. They may squeak into the Gator, but Nashville or Orlando is probably where they end up.

The obvious answer is the toilet bowl. But the most likely spot is Nashville against Kentucky.

    Tire Bowl vs. Pitt.
    It's the "We-Lost-to-State, too" bowl.

Not likely. I know the Charlotte folks would be happy with that, but I doubt it will happen. Miami or FSU in Charlotte is much more likely.

a bowl is a bowl, it's progress. going 0-6 to rivals sucks, but going 8-4 in back to back years with solid recruiting, stadium improvements and attendance improving at a better rate than any other team in the ACC is better progress than I thought. I'd rate Davis' success a B+

That's a fair evaluation of things and about the same grade I would have given them. So far the major holes would be the recruiting on the offensive side of the ball. None of the QB prospects have worked out well enough to push Yates to the sidelines and not having the pieces in place to replace the WR talent they lost last year to the NFL would be the biggest problems there. But injuries certainly haven't helped, and the progress is certainly there. With all of that said, I think it can take a full 5 years to get everything in place for a football team, mainly your full 5 years of players if you count your redshirt system.
