Carolina got away with a pretty putrid effort on offense against a so-so team. The receivers are not getting open, the offensive line is getting out quicked. The coaches knew it henceforth their keeping it pretty close to the vest. It will get better but it better hurry.

Greg Ellerby actually started at LG today. He has less experience as an O-linemen than Jonathon Cooper, who is a redshirt freshmen with 1 career start.

Going into this season, my worst nightmare was having to see UNC start two back up O-linemen this early in the season, especially when the starting FB didn't even make the trip.

Anyway, this was a crappy game by the offense, but on a positive note, I thought Highsmith really stepped up at WR. I believe he just passed Josh Adams on the depth chart.

I'll still feel much better when Dwight Jones comes back though.

All in all, you have to give a lot of credit to Uconn though. Coming into this game, they had only lost two home games in two years, and they showed why today.

I would have agreed 2 weeks ago. But really all you have to do is throw intermediate to deep passes on us all day long. Wouldnt try running on us but it seems anyone can pass on us. That's the one thing that really hasnt gotten any better in the last 3-5 years for us.

And dont worry if we jump out to a 10-17 point lead in the 1st quarter, we wont move the ball but about 50 yards after that.

that means it should be a good game. unc isn't completing passes down field yet, especially over the top. should be a low scoring game

    ECU or Carolina?

Fans aren't feeling very confident on either side.

I'm confident UNC will win, I just think it will be another ugly looking win.

If the O-line can keep Yates in the game then UNC will win.

If Carolina's offense is clicking, this game won't be close. If offense sputters, which most fans are predicting, then this game is a toss-up. Regardless, UNC's defense will win this game for the Heels.
