    Now that was bad. Absolutely wrong voice for that song.

    I was at a wedding not too long ago and heard a version of Amazing Grace (on bagpipes, then with a drum & bugle corps) as the bride came down the aisle. It was very moving.

    It's such an incredibly beautiful song that it's hard to choose a favorite rendition.

    One that I can't find a link to listen to is done in the Cherokee language, performed by Walela (Rita Coolidge & her sisters).

    Elvis could always sing anything well, & this is a great example of that:

    I think I'd like it done to the tune of "House of the Rising Son" if I heard a good recording of it. None that I found online were of very good quality.

    Surprisingly, I didn't really care for Steven Tyler's rendition. I love listening to him, but not this song.
