We were talking about the history of this song yesterday. It's very interesting. This one guy said he'd like to have a cd of all the different artist who have done this song. So, i was looking up on You tube the different versions and i came across this one. It's a little bit of history on it and a very powerful version by Wintley Phipps. I know how you guys love my you tubes but if you don't want to look, don't.
I would like if you would post your favorite artist doing Amazing Grace.

I've heard Amazing Grace is the most recorded song ever, is that true?

You should check out the movie "Amazing Grace" then if you havent already seen it. Albert Finney steals the show for me as Newton but the story really revolves around William Wilberforce.

I dig me some AG sung to the tune of "House of the Rising Sun" ~ all the hacks that I could find doing it on youtube though are doing it badly.

I'd like to see that movie. Here's Chris Tomlin sing his version. It's from the movie Amazing Grace. I like it.

You ever been to Chimney Rock Park on Easter morning? A lone bagpipe plays Amazing Grace, makes chills up your spine.
