    It's official.

    The show's principal voice actors have all signed on for the project and creator MATT GROENING is delighted with the script for the film.

    The Simpsons' spokeswoman ANTONIA KAUGHMAN says, "Now we're going to get the best of both worlds, evidently... They finally worked out a movie team, a team of the writers, because we could never hire outside writers - they had to be Simpsons writers, and most of them were working on the show.

    "They finally put this team together that has time on the side, and they've been working on the script. So the movie won't be at the end of the series - they'll be working simultaneously."

    Cool. I hope it is more like The Simpsons from the "good years" (seasons 3-8 or so) rather than the new episodes. They show has really gone down hill recently.

    wonder if that means using guys who have done the writing but went on to other things, like Conan.


    The shitty part is remembering how much it sucks that Phil Hartman's gone.

    I can't see how this will live up to the expectations that I have of it. I get the feeling it's going to do nothing but disappoint me.... :weeping:

    They need to catch up on the "Be Sharps", see what they've been up to. I guess Barney got shot a few years ago.
