how many SEC teams would agree to a home-home with Louisville right now? I'm thinking probably none. Aside from the UGA-Ga. Tech and UVA-VA Tech in-state rivalry games, SEC teams generally avoid home-home series against the top teams from other BCS conferences like the plague.

can someone run this through the Toddlerspeak Translator so Math can read it too? tia

Wait, is that the same West Virginia team that State took to the woodshed in the 1972 Peach Bowl?

I'll take your word that State beat WVA in the 1972 Peach Bowl. If that has any relevancy at all to the discussion, now might be the time to point it out. Otherwise you come across as just another parochial southerner who gets easily stung when someone is critical of your overrated football teams.

Grid...there is no reason for an SEC team to play those guys. It's no win for the SEC. They win...everyone says "of course." They lose...no good.

I'll take S. Carolina for example. They ALREADY play:

Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Arkansas, Auburn, and Clemson. Why on earth would they need to go out of conference??? Their strength of schedule is brutal enough. It's the teams like UL and WVU that need to worry about proving themselves. NOT the SEC teams. That's why it's beneficial to be in a STRONG conference.

By the way the Big 10 Blows Builder Dick this year. 3 teams and a bunch of horse shit.

And I know you are stirring the pot...and doing a pretty good job. But I'm done here. Next you're going to tell us the Carolina Panthers would have a tough time in the WAC..

that's kinda weak. How can a team/league piss and moan about another team's "easy" schedule and then refuse to play them. seems to me there's a huge benefit for an Auburn or Florida to play and beat a Louisville or WVa.

them folk at Arkansas must be retarded then, playing home-home with USC, a team that has won two of the last three national titles. what the fuck they trying to prove anyway. same with Texas and Ohio State. dumb and dumber.

Those Big East teams have tried playing with the big boys from the SEC. the big boys want no part of it.

the same could be said of the SEC. Three teams, OK four -- Fla, Auburn, LSU and Tenn -- and a bunch of shit. By year's end, at least one of those teams can be moved into the shit pile.

    well, duh

FYI, Big East teams have done pretty well against opponents who've also played SEC teams.

fwimfw, this is about whether or how the SEC's best would fare in the Big East. maybe not as much of a walk as some would think.

I'm an ACC fan, and my team is set to play Louisville. I also happen to agree with most of what you're saying. Mr. Sensitive.
