    Never read it but it was on the bookshelf in my room when I was young and the cover would scare the shit out of me. Somehow I always thought about it when I'd wake up in the middle of the night.

    Never read it, but saw the movie at age 8, scared the living shit outta me!! The part were the dead guy is floating in the window, whispering "let me in.." JESUS! Is that in the book?

    The Stand is a great book. Salem's Lot is scary and it rocks too. Good calls.

    I'm still partial to The Shining. Its just killer. :D

    read it twice. Like reading a different book the second time, I missed so much stuff cause I wanted to find out how it ended.

    Those damn Jack Chick comics. My grandmother used to make me read those when I was a kid. I'd lay awake at night, worried I was going to hell because I hadn't picked enough blackberries that day.
