Also, "black and tan" in a bottle isn't a black and tan, it's just a stoudt mixed with a lager (or is that an ale, I forget). A black and tan stays separated.

The thing you fucking morons don't realize is that yes, it's nice to have a variety of beers available to match your needs and the occasion, and yes, there are some great beers from many countries, but the bottom line is that beer IS like sex and pizza, it's always good. If I'm laying floors in my house, I'm gonna drink a nice, cheap, low alcohol American beer because I'm gonna be drinking them all day and I don't want to get hammered. Also, beer gets WAY colder in cans and you don't risk breaking glass. If I'm drinking a beer with a meal, I'm gonna want something strong so it doesn't taste like water against the food. But beer is good, and if you feel the need to be "above" a beer because it's not "special enough", you're not drinking beer for the right reasons and you should stop immediately.

Just because you just discovered Smithwick's doesn't mean it hasn't been imported for for more than a couple years.

And you can find Bud cans served at room temp in every pub in Ireland. Harp is in the more touristy places.

Funny, the Irish guys serving them to me in the pubs in 1985 said they didn't export it.

Sure, they keep them there for the stupid Brooklyn tourists.

    Nope.

I had a bottle of something called Chimay Blue (Belgian). Very impressive indeed. If I ever drink it again, it'll be next year this time. try one sometime. Not out on your deck or in front of the TV.

Berating someone for wanting to drink a really good beer is the same as berating them for wanting to have a decent wine instead of Boone's Farm. It's a matter of taste, fucktard.

The heaviness or flavor of the beer has nothing to do with the alcohol content.

You can like any and all beers, but as soon as someone says, "I don't drink Budweiser because it tastes like piss," or something to that affect, they're a fag.
