at this point I am actually hoping for 6-10

7-9 will result in business as usual with no significant changes . ..
even without the injuries this team would have the same record and headed down the same old gravel road

    actually it might take 5-11

Under Fox we almost always follow a bad year with a good year. I look for them to be good next year if he stays. They tend to fix a problem a year late. They will probably get a QB in the off season.

That "IS" the case, and Thelt if we ran the ball 75% of the time, we might be over .500 now. But we haven't, and we won't start now either.

As for the Jets/Buc games,,, we have a chance of winning both,,, but probably better chance we split,,, however I'm damn sure both games will be close.

The last 4 games, we'll need other teams to rest starters to have any chance, and thats embarrassing.

I actually think we will play all the teams we have left on the schedule fairly close. I do not think we will win many of them but I think we will keep it close. At the Patriots might get out of hand but I think we keep the others close if Jake does not turn it over a lot.

Jake has 2 ints before halftime,,, under pressure, he just chunked the last one up towards nobody but the Jets safety...

I'm starting to believe this team - at least a BIG chunk of them, have QUIT.

was hearing reports this week that the locker has been dead, quiet. no joking,no music. players walking around like the season is over(which it already was) like many of them have tuned fox out.

Many still play hard, but watch faces on the sideline. No one is encouraging anyone or yelling. They're faces seem to reflect what the fans say - "Here we go again"

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a Jake fan any longer, but benching him would not solve all the problems. The oline hasn't done a stellar job either protecting the QB nor have they consistently opened run holes. A lot of our run yards have been because we have 2 guys who can often make something out of nothing. Losing Davis stinks, Chris Harris still playing hard, but he's not what he was last year. Secondary is sort of on again/off again.

Bringing in Bret Favre wouldn't magically turn us into world beaters. Yeah, we may have had a better record, but Jake isn't the only reason we're where we are.

Five wins now. We just need two more wins to get there. The Giants are in full swoon mode.
