    who on earth thinks that atheism is new? atheism predates theism.

    Then why are they PART of a Christian organization. Why don't they start their own "Atheists over seas, or feeding the hungry" I'm not saying they don't EVER give, I just think you are wrong if you think Christians aren't gladly carrying the bulk of it.

    Never said that Christians weren't carrying the bulk of it. Just said you might miss some of the folks working on the projects.

    Atheists/agnostics/non-religious folks can agree with a cause, for example Habitat, Homeless Shelter, Crisis Assistance, etc. and not agree with the specific theology/beliefs of the folks running it.

    Personally, I've been involved with assisting several "Christian" charities locally. Thankfully, the folks running them and those receiving help appreciated the time and money and didn't tell me to go start my own group or ask me to check off on some theological litmus test.

    No, I agree, lots of good folks out there willing to help...just think all people want to do is bash Christians for anything they do wrong. That's not helping anyone
