This fuck'n movie is gut wrenchingly sad. However, its probably the best holecaust movie I've ever seen by far. I liked it better than Schindlers List which I liked a lot.

You'll think your life is fuck'n problem free after you watch what these people went though. This movie was unbelievable but it is freak'n brutal for sure. Very highly recommended.

One of Polanski's best. However, I don't think it was better than Schindler's List, but it was a great movie.

The scene when the German officer made him play in the abandoned house was a truely powerful scene. I almost shed a tear for Szpilman. Powerful.

it is an amazing movie, knowing that it is a true story and one that has been cleaned up considerably and is still very disturbing is scary. the scene after the raising of the warsaw ghetto is spellbinding wish I could have seen it on a big screen
