    Crazy money. Don't blame hm at all. The Nationals way overspent but I guess they wanted to keep the BoSox from making an offer. After losing Dunn to the ChiSox I guess they felt they couldn't miss on Werth. Congrats to him. He'll never sniff the post season again

    Holy Shit didn't realize this. Werth signs the 13th biggest contract in MLB history. He's a real good player but still. Plus batting behind Ryan Howard has it's benefits. Phillies need a right handed bat big time

    Carl Crawford must be smiling from ear to ear. If Werth gets 18 mil a year Crawford is going to get 20+ from the Halos

    "Listen.......if he was scared of the spotlight in NY, it is better that he goes elsewhere. No worries in Philadelphia unless he wears a Santa suit or a Michael Irvin jersey. No DH, better numbers, gets to play the Mets 18 times. He made the right decision. Not everyone is cut out for the big stage. Better he admit that now then turn into the next Eddie Lee Whitson.
