I'd be impressed if he donated all the profits of this movie to world charities to further the cause of helping people in need. Now that would be true Christianlike behavior.

That fucker has like 12 kids or something. He needs the dough. Also, judging by his interview with Diane Sawyer he obviously has one hell (pardon the pun) of a cocaine habit. That fucker was high on something.

 

I might even just wait for the dvd. I'm really in no rush.

 

I heard that hot chick from the Matrix Reloaded is in it. She get nailed?

 

This movie was nothing more than a 2.5 hour torture.

I left the movie with an ambivalent feeling. The scene where Pontius Pilot asked the mob if they'd rather have Jesus set free or the murderer Barabus. When the mob shouted Barabus it reaffirmed my feelings about organized religion. That being a bunch of zealots (which most religious people are) would rather see a brutal murderer set free as opposed to someone who is an independent thinker.

The beating was the worst thing I think I have ever seen in terms of a feature film. It certainly has left an indelible mark.

If you understood the Hebrew or Latin meaning of passion, you wouldn't substitute your name in there. Passion means suffering, but not just suffering. It means the most intense suffering.
