Think how good this team would be with Foster and a stud receiver.

    Wowsa.

yep. A slight upgrade at RT too.
Of course, I remember a much better 1996 team where the team thought "well, what if we went out and got a speed receiver and a rush end and let our fullback go." So it's hard to say.

But for right now, as long as we're picking young, moldable guys who we have time to look over, rather than looking at some film, asking a few people, and then trying to wow in a meeting like a free agent, then our chances are better that we won't fuck up.

Well that 1996 team had a young, 'franchise' qb.

I wonder what the qb answer will be?

a rediculous poll.....why must we look for the gray in the silver lining of this team....we have a solid team that is playing well....did us sucking so badly last year really taint the opinions of this club that badly? oh and i abstained from the poll.

    Welcome, NC
I thought the poll was OK. Shit, I was thinking 2-14 before the season started, now I'm thinking 8-8 and I'll be pissing in my pants I'll be so happy. I don't know what I'd think if we snuck in as a wild card in the playoffs. I don't think any way we win the division, NO, TB, and the birds will be tougher than the Niners and Rams.

3 wins is as good as I thought we'd do all season after preseason and all the controversy. I think we'll win 8 or 9 now. :)

I was thinking 5 wins probably, maybe six if we were lucky. Now I'm probably going to be disappointed with any less than six. If we beat GB and ATL once, I'll rethink my preditions...

no injuries so far (well, moose's hammy aside -- and the kicker) and a bunch of turnovers. those are two huge positives that can't POSSIBLY keep up.

still, i said they'll win another 5 at least.

the change in attitude is 180 degrees.

i'm with you, meat -- imagine charles rogers or kelly washington. hell, imagine a dontae stallworth. :)
