I was wondering the same earlier. Obviously our Defense would be all world with the athletes we have but yeah, where you gonna play him?

Sutton is on the trade block with Denver, so maybe we pick up a WR1 that way? Probably a ton of money difference though with that trade, not DJ money, but still way more than what we would subtract with Chinns 2nd round money

 

I doubt we are able to sign a decent vet QB as Jameis Winston just signed an 8 million dollar deal to come back to NO as a backup to Carr. 8 million for him? That is more than we spent on any of our guys today. But New Orleans is like the government, somehow they print what they need for the cap dollars

 

NO has a habit of overpaying for their QB talent. I mean look at the deal they gave Taysom Hill.

 

Chinn and a 3rd or 4th for Hopkins might fly.

 

Chinn is a playmaker, I would be pretty surprised if we let him go. Bell is probably going to take Woods' job and move back to Free Safety.

 

He really isn't, though. That one time he returned two fumbles for touchdowns in the same game was cool, but outside of that he's been generic safety X.


One of the reasons why he's a great trade candidate is because his reputation outpaces his actual performance.

Also, I think Joe Mixon is or is going to be a FA, but dude has some questionable background stuff and some present drama, so maybe we don't think of him as far as Deonte Brown alternative.

We are also backloading a lot of this, so the $120 million we thought we had for next year, is not going to be the case.

There's going to be WRs shaking out- Renfrow probably wouldn't mind getting the hell out of Vegas not sure if his adlib stuff works well with Reichs style.
