"Unfortunately, wide receiver’s group has lost two players recently. Yesterday, Terrace Marshall Jr. was carted off practice with a back injury. Today, the team placed Damiere Byrd (hamstring) on injury reserve, which means that he will miss the entire season."

Out the whole season because of a hamstring issue? That must one destroyed hamstring.

starting to think that WR might be our new O-line in terms of the position never being properly addressed. .. "We have our multiple Super Bowl winning #1 overall QB!!! We don't need an O-line OR WRs!!" I wonder what teppers IQ is

I had read that the last WR spot was going to be Byrd or Shi Smith. Looks like Smith is the winner

Our receiver room still has at least four NFL caliber receivers in it, so I think we're going to be fine there.

Smith could get arrested for being stupid at anytime. Chark is one awkward fall or tackle from being injured. Thielen, according to team's critics, comes to practice in a wheelchair.(age related joke.)
Derek Wright could be the great white hope till cut.

yeah dig i gotta go with you on this (unfortunately). The carolina staff apparently thinks we're fine at WR but i'm sure not seeing it. Unless mingo were to become a legit #1 in a matter of weeks it's a definitive "meh" overall. If carolina had a brady or rodgers maybe this WR roster would do some eatin', but lil' 9 rook is peeking up over the steering wheel so. . ..

He's WR5 at best they'll likely release him off IR at some point during the season.

It wouldn’t be the Panthers if we had both a decent offensive line and a strong wide receiver room. We get one or the other, don’t you guys know that?

Any guesses as to how many and at what positions the Panthers will bring in after teams last cut date?

My wife had her knee replaced so I'm having to sit in handicap seats for a bit. Lol I sold my cowboy seats on the 10 yard line for the price of one full season single seat.
