The Miles Sanders contract is retarded.

yeah, i can't imagine we would have landed a FA of his caliber without "being the retard" surrendering a too good to pass up offer

It's free agency. There's always teams that overpay it's just what happens.

If he turns out to be brilliant nobody will be bothered what he's making.

These players fit what this staff wants to accomplish, and that's a big improvement over Rhule's random ass grab bag approach, but it's still stupid to burn money.

The position tends to not have brilliant second contracts.

And something definition of insanity...something results but it wouldn't happen to MY team

Is there any way to think someone like Clowney or Clark would come here for a 1 year deal?

    Clowney makes some sense.

If Chinn isn't traded, he'll probably be the nickleback and Evero will make him a fifth rusher, similar to how LA uses Derwin James. I'm not too worried about the pass rush. They have enough flexibility to simulate pressure in addition to Burns ruining marriages.

Clowney on paper sounds great, but I swear, that guys play has never matched up to the press he has rec'd, nor the money
If we were to sign him, maybe he and Burns could handle the OLB's and Luvu and Shaq in the middle

Texans now have more draft picks (12) than anyone in the draft.

If there was only a way to manipulate them into trading picks with the Panthers and pulling their early 2nd and early 3rd from them, and still get the guy we are targeting, I would be very happy.

No way they keep all those picks
