Well, as opposed to other free agency periods, we have a few things to talk about other than "waiting on the third wave"

Jamal Williams will not be back with Detroit and we have been mentioned as in the mix. Figure he will cost more than Deonte, but who knows

So I guess that bit about us being interested in Jamal Williams worked.

Deonte Brown just signed a 3 yr deal with the Panthers.

Wow, we have covered just about all the bases, especially with Theilan coming tomorrow

    So now I am thinking.

    Round 1 QB
    Round 2 Top WR/TE left
    Round 3 Top WR/TE left
    Round 4 Scat back
    Round 4 T/G
    Round 5 LB

I think Dalton is a good choice. Between him and McCown, a rookie QB is going to learn a lot about playing in the NFL in terms of how to do everything outside of actually playing on Sundays. And if he is pressed into action, he's not going to lose us games--we won't have to win in spite of him.

We're going to get Mike Gesiki or Dalton Schultz. A TE room of Thomas, Tremble, and Sullivan isn't going to scare anyone, and none of those guys should be considered a reliable safety valve for a young QB. We will probably draft one as well, but WR is a much bigger priority.

    10+ wins this year.
