    Isolated greatness.

Many of those tackles came courtesy of the "Best Front Four in Football":trophy:

I could go on and on and on, but tell me one thing, did New England run the ball right down our throats to win that game or not? If our MLB had such a great game, how did that happen? Oh, and you might want to know that 7 of Dan's tackles in that game were on passes.

As I said I am on the fence with Foster. I don't want them to pay big money. Shoudl we loose Foster though I would like to see them add a guy like a Chester Taylor on the cheap and maybe add someone through the draft.

I am concerned that Davis will be or should be done, Shelton is the biggest question at HB we have and I am not sure I want Goins to have to cary the load any more than is necessary. So, I say draft and FA assuming we lose Foster to a over bid and Davis to the pasture.

Dan played hard in SB38. But to call that performance great would be a stretch. Kevin Faulk averaged 7 yards per carry, and sliced through our defense a key moments. Antowain Smith was effective enough. TE Graham had 4 receptions for 50 yards. The middle of the field (Dan's area) was exposed throughout.

Like Collin said, the number of tackles were a bi-product of 48 pass attempts and the disappointing performance of our defensive line.

i don't think deshaun could lower his shoulder much this year. he hurt it early and protected it the whole year - he had to - all we had left was nick 'i got knocked the fuck out' goings.

Exactly. Running high means you fall more dangerously too.

Still, I'd like to have Foster back. Not for big money though. He'll be hurt more, like Morgan. Hopefully we can have another GOOD RB. Hopefully one of the two can play any given week.

Am I the only one who doesn't really care one way or the other? I keep reading here becuase of habit, but I can't muster being concerned with the team at this point. Not out of dissappointment but out of just needing to take a break from pretending it's that important to myself.

I'm suffering from some Panthers fatigue too, yeah. It'll wear off in a couple of weeks, though, as I realize there aren't any other sporting events worth watching.
