    On Canty, I think he's putting out into the media rumors of a ten million a year contract.

    Coincidentally, it should be interesting given the league turmoil over money - coaches, assistants, layoffs, cutbacks, the labor agreement - to see how free agency works out and whether teams are really going to give out 8 figure per year deals to non-stars.

    Dre Bly was released by Denver. I'm not sure about the fit, but if willing he'd be a much better nickel corner.

    Many suspect he is going to want more than Asomugha is getting, 15+million a year is a lot and I still worry that he might start to coast after getting the $$$
