is about to be shut out of the Title game. According to ESPN and CNNSI, Oklahoma and LSU will be playing in the Sugar Bowl.

Well I guess that pretty much trivializes the bowl schedule this year. Looks watching Bonzo goes to washington will be the best bet. That Leo G Carrol just cracks me up.

That sound you here is last vestige of the BCS' credibility falling down.

Good. I feel bad for USC but I want to see teh BCS be so fucked up that no one - not even the shmuck tv and bowl guys - can defend its stupid ass structure.

So tell me this. OU wins, USC is the #1, as it should be? If USC wins, regardless, what are the chances that USC does their usual impressive roll of an opponent, and still lands #1 in the polls?

The winner of the Sugar Bowl has to be voted #1 in the coaches poll. But the AP poll? Sure USC could end up #1 there.

That would be the worst thing possible for the BCS. Split #1's, even though the coaches poll #1 is automatically considered the national champ. We need a playoff system badly. Fuck the BCS.

Too bad there aren't ties in college anymore. I'd be pulling for ties in the Sugar and the Rose.

    Talk about a cluster fuck.

Oklahoma just simply doesn't deserve a BCS title shot.

The funniest thing is that the top four of the BCS "teams" if taken by their poll rankings, look like a playoff semi. 4 plays 1, 2 plays 3.
