    Getting punked on your home court by teams I consider sub par is surely a letdown. I prefer not to think of it or last season in general.

    well the 100 or so that have joined here, the 150 threads, and 1500 posts have not helped that cause. as I said before, too bad a good board was poorly managed and caused a split down the middle. double standards will never work on a message board. eventually they will rise to the top and they can be fixed, or stubborness by moderator sets in, and alot of people get upset, not just myself, obviously.

    What market. We are 30th (give or take a spot) in TV markets. Our local ratings suck and we play in a city that could care less about us. Do you think that a conference like the Big East gives a shit that we are the 30-something TV market in a city with only a million people?? No way.

    If we rely on the city of Charlotte and our TV market, we will be playing in the Sunbelt. If we dont want to get left out when the conference realignment happens, we need to WIN. Winning makes you attractive to other teams and conferences.

    You dont see much talk about Marquette getting screwed do you? A couple years ago, they would be have been in trouble too, but a trip to the final four does wonders.

    This is sports people and winning is everything and is the answer to every problem.

    Want to sell more tickets? Win.
    Want more Alum donations? Win.
    Want more community support? Win
    Want more tv games? Win.
    Want better student support? Win.
    Want better tv ratings? Win.
    Better radio statio? Win.

    Dont want to get fucked by realignment? Winning wont hurt.

    Not trying to pick a fight but the vast majority of those 150 are related to or are started as a result of cusatalk. many of the posters here post there as well.

    I'm with lefty, there can never be too many Niner boards to talk Niner sports on. The more the merrier.

    I agree. Of course winning solves everything. Our advantage is that when we do win, we'll have 2 million potential bandwagoners. Walmart fans, as metro likes to call them. Wouldn't that be something???

    mk, not that you will ever say "yeah you're right," but I was just making the point that if Lefty wants more "activity" at the other site, this board does not help that cause. of course many of these threads pertain to somewhere else and we are refugees from there, I didn't deny that.
