    I'm not an alum of either school, but that's a good one. It's history. Every team every year tries to create a rivalry if none exist. It just makes the games more exciting.

    It's sports...it's ALL good.

    the best rivalry going today, and DaveW will vouch for me on this one, is St. Bonaventure-Duquesne, men's basketball.

    best rivalry in sport today, followed closely by unc/duke in hoops. if not for unc sucking ass lately, it would be too close to call. of course, i'm a red sox fan and a tarheel fan, so i'm sure that has something to do with those being my 1-2.

    i can understand someone who isn't a big fan of either saying its overated. however, noone can say that about unc-charlotte/uab in basketball.
